She wrote, “A new adventure begins (sun emoji) Ed finds a Home is just the beginning of a new series of books from the universe of Ed-a-mamma. My childhood was full of storytelling and storytellers .. and one day I had a dream to bring out that child in me and put it into books for children... I am so grateful to my fellow storytellers, Vivek Kamath, @shabnamminwalla, and @tanvibhat.draws, who with their wonderful ideas, inputs, and imagination helped bring our first book to life. Fingers crossed for this journey ahead.”

On the day of her grandfather's birth anniversary yesterday, Alia spoke fondly about him as her "favorite storyteller." She shared never-before-seen childhood images in homage to her "nana." “My favorite storyteller … Happy birthday Grandpa, you and your stories live on in our hearts forever,” she wrote.

On Sunday, she gave the book's launch at the Storyverse - Children's Lit Fest in Mumbai. At the function, Alia was joined by her sister Shaheen Bhatt, and her mother Soni Razdan. In a maxi dress with a floral motif and no sleeves, Alia looked stunning. She took part in a reading session at the time, where Alia, Shaheen Bhatt, and Soni Razdan read excerpts from the book. Following the reading, Alia spoke with young fans and asked their opinions. Alia introduces the book's main characters to the crowd in a now-viral video from the event.

The next film Jigra by Vasan Bala stars Alia Bhatt.
