It was Friday Alia took to Instagram stories to inform everyone that she has contracted the coronavirus. “Hello all, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care,”
Now, we see the cases of covid increasing in Bollywood. Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, R Madhavan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and recently Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar have tested positive for the virus.
Alia's most recent releases include Meghna Gulzar's Raazi opposite Vicky Kaushal and Zoya Akhtar's musical drama Gully Boy. She will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra.
