MUMBAI: For her role in the recently released mystery film Jaane Jaan, Kareena Kapoor Khan has garnered accolades. She plays a single mother in the drama, and Saurabh Sachdeva plays her aggressive ex-husband. In a recent interview, Sachdeva discussed his interactions with her during the production of the Sujoy Ghosh film.
Saurabh Sachdeva discussed his experience filming Jaane Jaan with Kareena Kapoor Khan in an interview. He referred to the shooting as, "highly professional and enjoyable experience. She respects an actor's space and allows them to express themselves. When I had to discuss getting close or holding her in a scene, she readily agreed because it was what the characters required. We moved forward with it because it was essential for the scene's authenticity. The ease with which she embraced these aspects of the role highlights her professionalism and years of experience in front of the camera."
The actor claimed that because the character's morals differed from his own, playing ASI Ajit Mhatre was difficult. He mentioned, "I delved into his childhood, crafting scenes that helped me grasp why he became the person he is today. It was through this process that I developed his core values."
Sujoy Ghosh's film Jaane Jaan is based on the Japanese book The Devotion of the Suspect X. In addition to Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat, the movie also stars Kareena and Saurabh. On September 21, Jaane Jaan was made available on Netflix, to largely favorable reviews. The three lead actors' performances received the majority of the compliments. The movie also represents Kareena's entry into the digital world after more than 20 years in the business.
