MUMBAI: Actor Chunky Panday recently opened up about his daughter Ananya Panday's relationship with 'Aashiqui 2' star Aditya Roy Kapur. Chunky revealed that he respects the independence of his daughter and highlighted the fact that she is 25. He also showered praises for his daughter, as she made a mark in the Hindi film industry without taking anyone's help.
During an interview with Lehren, the proud father spoke about how his daughter keeps mentioning Aditya. The actor said, "I mean it’s fine. I think she is 25, she is earning more money than I did. She is free to do what she wants. How dare I tell my 25-year-old daughter what to do.” The actor also opened up about Ananya doing intimate scenes in films and said, “Yes I am fine with it. I have seen it in Hollywood. There is no harm. You have to accept it.”
To talk about Ananya and Aditya's relationship, the actress during a conversation with Neha Dhupia on her talk show 'No Filter Neha' revealed that they are more than just friends.
When further he was asked whether Ananya seeks advice from him, he said, "Both my girls are really close to Bhavana. Whenever they need something then papa gets a call. But otherwise they are very close to their mother. Of course Bhavana is closer to their age. I am always there when advice is needed.”

Chunky also revealed that for him the proudest moment was when Ananya got her first movie and she decided to do the same. Workwise, the actress was last seen in ' Kho Gaye Hum Kahan' with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. On the work front, Ananya was last seen in the film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
