MUMBAI: Anil Kapoor had been cast as the head of R&AW in the Aditya Chopra-curated YRF Spy Universe. The actor is a new member of an outstanding cast of talents alongside Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan. Aditya Chopra has made the YRF Spy Universe a household name by assembling the biggest names in Indian cinema for the past ten years.

The well-known news outlet reported that Anil Kapoor has a multi-film contract with YRF Spy Universe. “Anil Kapoor is bowled over by the vision of Aditya Chopra for the Spy Universe and took no time to sign the dotted lines for the part,” a source told the publication.
Kapoor makes his first appearances in War 2, alongside Kiara Advani, Hrithik Roshan, and Jr NTR. Pathaan 2 stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone and Alpha will finally come after this, with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
Anil Kapoor will appear frequently in every spy movie in the universe because of his position as the head of R&AW. The YRF Spy Universe is constantly growing with other projects under development at YRF's writing wing, including the much-awaited Tiger vs Pathaan, which will showcase a showdown between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, will be YRF's next big-screen movie. It will be released on August 15, 2025. The first female-led saga in the universe, Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, will come after that. Although the exact date of Pathaan 2's release is unknown, it is currently in the writing phase and is anticipated to happen later in 2025.
Fans are even more excited and anticipatory now that Anil Kapoor is a part of the YRF Spy Universe. The YRF Spy Universe is expanding, offering exciting stories and star-studded performances in a slate of upcoming high-octane thrillers.
