MUMBAI: Ankit Tiwari, a singer-composer, interrupted his performance because his cameraman fainted on stage. On June 8, the event was held at Mumbai's Carter Road Amphitheater. Ankit can be seen rushing towards his cameraman in a video that the popular paparazzi posted to Instagram after the latter fell during the singer-composer's performance.

Then, halfway through his live performance, Ankit stopped to offer his cameraman some water and asked if he was okay. The "Sunn Raha Hai" hitmaker is receiving a tonne of praise from his fans for his consideration and empathy for his staff.

One user wrote, “This is called humanity.” Another one commented, “He is a gem.” “Such a humble guy,” a third comment on the video read.

Ankit Tiwari's life has experienced its fair share of highs and lows. His blossoming career was hindered in 2014 by a string of serious charges made by his then-girlfriend. Ankit said that it hurt his career even though he was acquitted and cleared of all charges in 2017. The singer has discussed being ignored by the industry in an interview.

Ankit composed and sang for films like Aashiqui 2, Singham Returns, and PK, before the controversy almost sabotaged his career.

Speaking to the popular news portal, he had said, “People stopped working together, pulled their hands back. Without giving any reason, they withdrew me from many projects. Most of my work which was in the finishing stage was also closed. I lost so much. But that doesn’t mean I gave up. I have been doing something.”

Even though the time was difficult, Ankit said, it helped him identify his real industry friends. “When such phases arrive, very few people stand with you. There were some people in the industry who were with me, whom I actually call my family. Those with whom I have worked were also in my support. It is said that when all the doors are closed, God keeps one gate open. The same happened to me. When all the doors were closed, one gate was open. I left from there too. I have come a long way now,” he added.

Ankit was acquitted of all charges by the Mumbai Sessions Court in April 2017 after the prosecution was unable to provide any proof to support the charges. After a while, the singer-composer returned to Bollywood and went on to sing in films such Big Bull, Badhaai Do, Baaghi 2, Malang, Sadak 2, and Shiddat.
