MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma expressed her happiness when Virat Kohli and team Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated the Delhi Capitals (DC). On Sunday, RCB defeated DC by 47 runs in the ongoing IPL 2024. Anushka was seen seated in the stands and supporting Virat in pictures and videos that went viral.

DC's innings ended at 140 all out after Lockie Ferguson of the RCB took the wicket of Mukesh Kumar, as shown in a video posted on X. Anushka sprung out of her seat with visible surprise. Then she thanked God while folding her hands.

As RCB won the game, Virat also appeared to be making a gesture towards Anushka. Several fans posted footage of Anushka's endearing response on X.

“Anushka’s reaction because she knew how bad Virat Kohli deserved this!!,” a fan wrote. “When Lady Luck is sitting in the stand you can’t beat RCB !! Well done boys,” added another. “Lucky Charm Anushka ,” a third added.

In the match, Virat Kohli scored only 27 runs during the match. The cricketer hit one boundary shot and hit three sixes before Ishant Sharma took his wicket. She afterward joined RCB fans in Bengaluru stadium. She was seen supporting Virat and the team in the stands.

Earlier this month, Anushka Sharma made her first public appearance since welcoming her son, Akaay, with Virat Kohli. Shared by Royal Challengers Bangalore star Faf du Plessis, a photo captured Anushka celebrating her birthday alongside him and her husband, Virat Kohli. Anushka marked her 36th birthday on May 1. Anushka was in Bengaluru for her birthday and hosted a small gathering.

Anushka and Virat revealed the news of the birth of their second child in a statement earlier this year. “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on February 15, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world!” announced Anushka and Virat.
