The latest B-town couple discreetly painting the town red is none other than Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. From multiple secret rendezvous at various hotspots to arriving together at parties, the duo certainly look like the much-in-love couple.
It all started with their joint arrival at Ranbir Kapoor's Christmas bash in the same car which proved their undying admiration for each other. Prior to the bash, there were hush hush rumours about both being an item though given their friendship none could clearly guess about the behind-the-scenes affair. However, later reports of how the two were inseparable at Ranbir's house seemed to suggest of something more serious.
What however seems to have put a mark of approval on their relationship is them celebrating New Year together. The twosome rang in the New Year out of India and were seen returning together on the same flight after the revelries. Love actually, we would say.
But guess who is happy about Sidharth and Alia? It's none other than their Student of the Year co-star Varun Dhawan who was earlier rumoured to be dating Alia. When we asked Varun whether is happy for Sidharth and Alia, the handsome actor without mentioned Sid-Alia said, "I am happy for whoever is in love."
The Badlapur star then U-turn and asked us, "Are they in love?" When we checked on whether they have confessed anything to Varun given their close friendship, the hunk smartly replied with a wink, "No not at all. They have not told me anything yet. And I....was in Vegas."
Ah, we get it Varun. You want to play it safe. Interestingly, Alia had on an episode of Koffee with Karan said that Varun would make for a good boyfriend and Sidharth for a good husband. If one were to join the dots, it certainly looks like Alia has chosen the latter.
