MUMBAI: Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma made headlines for their troubled marital life. Not just headlines, but the matter even became a hot topic on social media where netizens expressed their opinions strongly.
It was reported that the two were living separately for many months and now finally they have been divorced, ending their marriage of four years. Netizens had many times pointed out that there is something off but things became more serious when they started noticing cryptic posts on Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal’s social media profiles.
According to ABP News, the final hearing with all the formalities related to the alleged former couple’s divorce took place at Bandra Family Court on Thursday (20th February), and with that, Chahal and Verma officially parted ways.
A lawyer familiar with the case said that Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma were asked to attend a 45-minute counseling session and when asked by the judge, they both confirmed that they were seeking divorce with mutual consent.
Yuzvendra Chahal got married to Dhanashree Verma on 22nd December, 2020 but their marriage soon got bitter. While there were divorce rumors going around, there was a speculation about Yuzvendra Chahal meeting a mystery girl at a hotel and later, pictures of Yuzi with RJ Mahvash went viral on social media. However, a clarification from Mahvash came to light, stating that they are just friends. Meanwhile, Dhanashree Verma is a choreographer and is loved for her dance videos.
