MUMBAI: Netflix India has released its 2025 slate and quite visibly it has created a stir on social media with fans excited for so many movies and series.
The slate of upcoming movies and series include Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins (starring Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat), Toaster (starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra), Test (starring R. Madhavan, Nayanthara and Siddharth), Aap Jaisa Koi (starring R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh), Delhi Crime season 3, Rana Naidu season 2, Khakee: The Bengal Chapter and many more.
However, the biggest announcement was - ‘Ba***ds of Bollywood’. Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is all set to make his directorial debut with Ba***ds of Bollywood, a series that will take you behind the scenes of what happens into the industry but with a fictional narrative.
While the fans are excited to see Aryan Khan making his debut as a director, a lot of them have been wishing to see him as an actor. However, here’s something that we feel is important to remind the fans. Aryan Khan isn’t the first starkid to make his debut as a director.
That’s right, we’ve had someone before who entered the industry as a director and later turned out to be a fine actor and singer as well. We are talking about none other than Farhan Akhtar who debuted with Dil Chahta Hai in 2001. The iconic movie is talked about even today. Farhan Akhtar went on to become an actor in many movies like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do, Rock On, and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The question is – Will Aryan Khan make an acting debut too?
