MUMBAI: Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 released in 2022 and left the audience amazed. Be it Kartik Aaryan’s Rooh Baba effect or Tabu’s performance in dual role, it all impressed the audience but the makers were not done yet and after 2 years, they are back with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. This time, it is starring Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Tabu and Vidya Balan and to top it off, its going to be a double dhamaka of Manjulika.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, the movie grabbed some serious attention right after it was announced officially. Triptii Dimri, who was then enjoying the success of Animal, was revealed to be a part of the movie and this really got the audience hyped. When the makers revealed that Vidya Balan will be coming back as Manjulika and Madhuri Dixit is going to be a part as well, it became a promising movie right then.
Be it the trailer, the trailer or the songs that released, it was all very well received by the audience but the cherry on the cake was the music video of Ami Je Tomar 3.0 which featured a beautiful performance of Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. This really became an audience-magnet.
The movie finally released on 1st November and while the audience are giving out their reactions, let us look at the business side of the movie.
On its first day, the movie opened up to a massive Rs 35.50 Cr. The movie had collected around Rs 5 Cr already in Advance Ticket bookings and it’s really amazing to see how the movie getting immense love from the audience.
On day 29, the movie collected around Rs 2.4 Cr. The movie has collected around Rs 381.5 Cr globally while collecting Rs 253.4 Cr India net.
