MUMBAI: 'Binny and Family', a slice-of-life story, has been receiving overwhelming response even before it has hit the theatres, and the latest one to heap praises on this Ektaa R Kapoor and Mahaveer Jain's family entertainer is the ace filmmaker Karan Johar. Recently, Producer Mahaveer Jain screened the film for Karan Johar, and he couldn't stop himself from pouring heartfelt praises on this coming-of-age film. He was totally captivated throughout the film. He was immensely impressed by the performances. He alternated between laughter and tears throughout the film. He was equally impressed with the storytelling, especially the pre-climax sequence. Sharing the film's first poster, Johar wrote, "Have had the pleasure of seeing this gem of a film…made cry, laugh and I walked out feeling like a sunshine!
