MUMBAI: Bobby Deol, an actor, is preparing for his big screen debut in South Africa. He will soon be seen in the Telugu films NBK 109 by Bobby (KS Ravindra) and Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Krish, as well as Siva's Tamil film Kanguva. In a recent interview, he discussed working in a new field and about his experiences.
Bobby, who is all set for his debut in South revealed, “I always wanted to work with Suriya. He is a great actor, and I was excited about being offered Kanguva. Siva is a great filmmaker, and such a gentle soul. He is like a teddy bear, and he has gone on to make such a great film.’
Even though he's tipped to play the movie's antagonist, Bobby stayed silent about his involvement in NBK 109, but he was all praise for the film's star actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and its namesake director. He added, “Balakrishna sir is a sweetheart. He is young at heart and is full of energy. My director Bobby is yet another beautiful soul, and I am lucky to work with such amazing people.”
Bobby's portrayal of Animal's adversary Abrar Haque gave him a new lease on life. In 2023, the movie—which also starred Rashmika Mandanna and Ranbir Kapoor—was a huge hit at the box office. Bobby had less screen time than Ranbir, but he nonetheless earned plaudits for his work in the movie. There will be an Animal Park movie sequel.
