MUMBAI : Actor Bobby Deol of Bollywood recently opened out about his kids' desire to work in the film industry, saying that his two sons, Dharam and Aryaman, are keen to pursue acting careers. Bobby talked candidly about the values and guidance he instills in them, particularly the significance of maintaining ties to their heritage.

Bobby highlighted that he often talks with them about the industry to get ready his kids for the challenges that lie ahead. “Both my kids want to be in this industry, so I keep discussing things with them,” Bobby told the popular news portal. “I’ve always ensured that they’re more connected to our culture. Speaking in Hindi is something I’ve always prioritised, and my kids speak Hindi, which is really important because if you want to be an actor in Hindi cinema, it’s essential,” he shared.

The actor also expressed excitement about exploring new facets of his craft, like working with different accents. “Now, things have changed. I’m so excited to do Haryanvi accents and other things out of my comfort zone. It’s just fun doing all that,” he added.

When asked whether his children feel more confident or nervous, given his backing, Bobby made it clear that having him as their father doesn’t necessarily make things easier. “Me being their father doesn’t make a difference. I can guide them, but the industry is tough to break into, not just for actors but in every field. People often talk about how difficult it is in the film industry, but it’s challenging everywhere,” he explained.

Bobby also mentioned that his kids will be under more scrutiny because of their heritage, but he emphasised the value of perseverance and hard work. “More eyes will be on my kids, but they have to work hard and focus on what they want,” he stated firmly.

Bobby Deol is generating buzz for his forthcoming part in Jr. NTR's eagerly awaited Devara Part I. According to reports, Bobby will play a villainous role, channelling Saif Ali Khan's character, who would also be an antagonist in the film.

Bobby is anticipated to play an important role in the movie, particularly in the second half, according to a source cited by the well-known news portal. “The team is in talks with Bobby Deol, and discussions are in the final stages. Bobby will enter Devara Part I towards the end, and in Part II, both Saif and Bobby will have meaty roles as antagonists,” the source revealed.
