MUMBAI: Raveena Tandon is one of the popular actress from the film industry. She has gained wide spread recognition for her acting skills and demeanour. Howevr, the actress is currently gaining attention for the wrong reason.

A video a road rage video goes viral on internet, that shows Raveena Tandon landed in controversy in the early hours of Sunday 2 June.

In the video, the actress can be seen requesting people not to record and not to hit her. However, a young woman shown in the camera showing that she is hurt and her nose is bleeding. She is seen insisting that Tandon should spend the night in jail. Later, an unseen man was heard screaming in the background gathering people for people to hit the actress.

In the video, you can also hear Mohammed, a Bandra resident. He says Tandon's driver ran over his mother when the family was heading back from a personal visit and passing by Rizvi College, which is close to Tandon's house. The driver allegedly assaulted his mother and niece after being confronted by the woman and her friends. Mohammed also claims that a drunk Tandon attacked his mother and niece when he arrived at the scene. He continued by saying that despite the family spending four hours in the Khar police station, no complaint was made by the police.

The video was uploaded by the person named Mohsin Shaikh on social media which ultimately gained attention of everyone.

Tandon is the wife of renowned film distributor Anil Thadani and the daughter of late filmmaker Ravi Tandon. She was a well-liked actress in the 1990s who took a break from the spotlight after getting married but has now returned to the entertainment industry. Karmma Calling, a Disney+ Hotstar series, featured her most recently.
