MUMBAI : A lot is being discussed on social media of late. Especially after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, many bigwigs of Bollywood are at the receiving end as netizens are debating over nepotism in the film industry. To go away from the negativity, Sonakshi Sinha recently deleted her Twitter account leaving all her fans disappointed. Now, it is Gangs of Wasseypur actress Richa Chadha who has made her Twitter account private. But well, she has a different reason to do so.

Richa has made her account private because she has been spending a lot of time on the platform and wants to go away from all the mindless scrolling. She shared a screenshot of a widget called 'screen time' that calculates the hours one has spent on mobile and Twitter. In total she spent nine hours on Twitter and twenty hours on the phone in a week. Sharing the stats, Richa wrote, "Am making my account private. It’s not because this platform is toxic (the world is toxic Tbh ab kya karein). I am here to help, support, amplify, crack a joke only, but I have a deadline and this mindless scrolling takes too much time."
Well, the lockdown has indeed forced many to spend their time on the internet as it is the only source of entertainment.
Meanwhile, in the other news, Alia Bhatt too has brought about some changes in her social media accounts. She has restricted her comments sections in order to get away with the incessant trolling and negativity.
