Bollywood movies that were supposed to have sequels but they never got made

MUMBAI : The success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has proved that people are interested in watching well-made sequels, and after the success of the Kartik Aaryan starrer, many filmmakers are planning to make sequels of their films. We already have Drishyam 2, Oh My God 2, Tiger 3, and more sequels lined up, and of course, recently there have been reports about Hera Pheri 3 as well.

But, there were movies that were supposed to have sequels, and they haven’t been made yet.

Agyaat 2

Dhamaal 3

At the end of Double Dhamaal, Riteish’s character says that in part 3 they will take the revenge from Kabir (Sanjay Dutt). But, the third installment of the film was totally different without any continuation and the character of Kabir was not there in Total Dhamaal.

Munna Bhai Chale America

Everyone has been waiting for the third installment of Munna Bhai. The makers had also announced a film titled Munna Bhai Chale America and even a small teaser of the same was released. But, the movie is not yet made.

Chandni Chowk to Africa

Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone starrer Chandni Chowk to China was a disaster at the box office. But, maybe the makers had high expectations from the film that’s why at the end of the movie they announced a sequel titled Chandni Chowk to Africa, which never got made.

Jagga Jasoos 2

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos failed to make a mark at the box office. The movie ended on a very interesting note and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s character was introduced in it. However, Jagga Jasoos 2 won’t be made as the first part was a flop.

Go Goa Gone 2

Moviegoers have been eagerly waiting for Go Goa Gone 2. The movie was even officially announced and there were reports of Aliens coming in the sequel, but it is not yet made.
