On 12th June, the Gadar actor had posted a speculative video on his social media account where he asked his fans to make a guess on the announcement he was to make. Fans started guessing what the announcement can be about.
The wait was finally over as the other day, Sunny Deol finally posted the grand announcement of Gadar 2. The 1997 movie Border was directed by Anurag Singh and was produced by JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta and Bhushan Kumar. There were reports earlier that post the success of Gadar 2, Sunny would start shooting of Border sequel.
While only the announcement was posted yesterday, now we are here with the release date of the movie. The makers have now officially announced the release date of Border 2 as January 23rd, 2026.
Talking further about Border 2, it is being produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and JP films while it has been written by JP Dutta's daughter Nidhi Dutta. The war based drama film would be directed by Anurag Singh. If rumours are to be believed, Border 2 would showcase the Battle of Longewala.
