MUMBAI: Renowned Indian actress, comedian and activist Mallika Dua, who is known for her on-point comic-timing and the quintessential Delhi-based character - 'Makeup Didi', has unfortunately tested positive of COVID-19.
She is undergoing the corresponding diagnosis at a hospital. wherein she was admitted a few days back as her fever kept rising.
She was keeping herself detached from both the showbiz world and social media for the same and only recently, she has uploaded a story on her official Instagram handle, informing her followers about the same. Therein, she has mentioned about her current situation, steady recovery and the status of her parents.

As per the story, it seems like her father had also been hospitalised, who is also healing steadily. Both of them are isolating from her mother.
Mallika is usually very active on social media and was last seen on the silver-screen in the Kiara Advani starrer Indoo Ki Jawani, which released last year.
Apart from this, she has been a very vocal activist who is a strong believer of and has stressed on the cause of FEMINISM and women empowerment on multiple occasions and platforms. She's also popularly known for depicting the harsh reality of society with a dash of humour.
