Chitrangda Singh stars in Sudhir Mishra's Kirchiyaan

Having worked with Sudhir Mishra in films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Kal – Yesterday and Tomorrow and Yeh Saali Zindagi,Chitrangda Singh shares a great rapport with the filmmaker. She can never say no to her mentor and guide. The actress is already working with Mishra in Inkaar that is due for an early release. Now it is heard that Chitrangda has been signed by the reputed director for a short film Kirchiyaan (The CleanUp) being made for Large Short Films. The 10 minute film has Chitrangda paired opposite Sushant Singh while Manu Rishi and Vipin Sharma form part of the supporting cast. The short film has an element of suspense and was shot in Mumbai over a span of two nights. “Though it is a short film, the director hopes to create the magic of 70mm on a tiny screen”, says a source associated with the film. It is said that Mishra rejected almost 12 scripts before he zeroed in on the perfect story. As for Large Short films, it is a large collaborative feature film. 12 directors from 12 cities will make 12 short films of 10minutes each. These films will be merged to make one single 120-minute feature film.
