MUMBAI: Renowned Director Homi Adajania’s 2012 Hindi movie Cocktail is a rom – com, produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty in lead roles, with Boman Irani and Dimple Kapadia in supporting parts.
The story revolves around a love triangle involving carefree Veronica (played by Deepika Padukone), traditional Meera (played by Diana Penty), and charming Gautam (played by Saif Ali Khan). The contrasting personalities and emotional dynamics between the trio form the heart of the film.

Now, the makers are coming back with Cocktail 2. That’s right! As per Pinkvilla reports, Dinesh Vijan-produced Cocktail 2 featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, along with another female lead, will go on floors soon.
“Cocktail 2 is written by Luv Ranjan, and will be directed by Homi Adajania. The casting for the parallel female lead with Kriti Sanon is underway, with Rashmika Mandanna being the top pick. The makers are aiming to take the romantic comedy on floors in August 2025,” the source informed.
Everything about this upcoming project sounds exciting, be it the contribution from Luv Ranjan, be it the cast of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon or even the top choice being Rashmika Mandanna.
