David Dhawan's Chashme Buddoor to hit the silver screen on 5 April

David Dhawan’s Chashme Buddoor, a remake of the hit 1981 film of the same name, will tentatively release on 5 April this year (2013). The film is all about friends Sid, Jai and Omi (Ali Zafar, Siddharth and Divyendu Sharma respectively) who live together in a small house in Goa. While Omi and Jai go for the women in Goa, Sid, on the other hand, lives a straight and normal life. The two womanizers Omi and Jai, now attempt to woo the new girl Neha (Taapsee Pannu) in the neighborhood. A series of lies, secrets and comical situations is what follows, making the film an uproarious and enjoyable family fare. The film, which is helmed by David Dhawan, also stars Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Anupam Kher among others. Here it may be interesting to note that Ali Zafar has also sung a few songs in the film which has been re-written by Sai Paranjpye, who directed the original.
