MUMBAI: The Narcotics Control Bureau has launched a massive crackdown against the use of the narcotic substance in Bollywood while investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
NCB sources stated that some WhatsApp conversations discussing drugs are on the radar of the agency. Some of these chats were purportedly between Deepika Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash and one 'D', they said.
According to a Times Now report, in one of the conversations between the 'Chappaak' actress has allegedly asked her manager to bring "hash" to a posh club where she was partying. This exchange of messages between the two happened in October 2017 on WhatsApp. The report further added that the investigative agency is expected to examine the footage from the party.

The news channel also stated that the actress has got in touch with her legal team in Delhi. She is currently in Goa for the shooting of her upcoming film. The report further added that Deepika is likely to leave Goa soon.
A PTI report stated that Karishma who was summoned by NCB could not appear before the agency on Tuesday due to ill-health. She has been exempted from appearance before the anti-drug agency till Friday. "The NCB will first question Karishma Prakash and might summon actor Deepika Padukone if needed," the official said.
