Delhi’s single-screen Delite Cinema has launched a quirky means to promote Kumar Mangat’s Akaash Vani that is set to release this week.
As part of the campaign, persons named Akaash and Vani can get a 50 per cent discount on admission rates for the movie. And if a married couple has the names Akaash and Vani, they can watch the film free of cost.
Said Raj Kumar Malhotra, Manager of Delite Cinema, “We thought it is a nice way to attract audience to come and enjoy this romantic film. Especially as Valentine’s Day is around the corner and the film is romantically inclined, we decided to go ahead with this idea.”
All that the winners would need to do is bring their ID cards to show as proof.
Akaash Vani is the story of two young people, Akaash and Vani, who set out on their journey towards a common destination – admission in the prestigious St. Stephen’s College of Delhi University. As they walk towards their first class in college, they are on their way to share life for the next three years. The film is a breezy romance and a story of pure love and friendship.
