Kartik Aaryan was paid Rs 20 crores for Ram Madhvani’s Dhamaka, Read On

MUMBAI: Ever since Kartik Aaryan revealed his character’s look in his upcoming film Dhamaka, there is a Dhamaka on social media and the fans are eagerly waiting for the movie and the actor in a different avatar.

Kartik Aaryan completed the shoot for this film in 10 days and created a record in the history of Indian cinema. But there is yet another surprising shocker in store. According to a report in an online portal, Kartik Aaryan was paid a whopping amount of Rs 20 crores for the film. Now that’s an unheard amount for a film which barely wrapped in less than two weeks. And doing the math, that means the young actor was paid almost Rs 2 crores a day! Kartik Aaryan’s remuneration fee was truly justified as the producers saved a lot of money on their schedule. While an average-budget film gets completed in 45 days minimum, Aaryan made sure he does that in almost 1/4th of the time and saved the producers from shelling out more money.

For a young actor to demand this remuneration and that too amidst the pandemic when producers are thinking twice before starting new projects. This surely indicates Kartik’s success in the business and how filmmakers trust this young lad. Well, his hard work and dedication have always got everyone raving about him and that’s the reason producers are ready to shell out big bucks for the actor.

Kartik Aaryan’s Dhamaka was shot in Mumbai at a suburban hotel and the first look of the actor from the film saw him in an intense avatar with some blood-stained clothes on. The film stars Mrunal Thakur and after the gripping-tales Neerja (2016) and Aarya (2020) Ram Madhvani has yet another shocking story to tell. Kartik Aaryan even has Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in the pipeline.
