MUMBAI: The nation was left in awe after watching Salman Khan in the trailer of Sikandar. While the superstar won hearts with his power-packed action, style, and swag, it was his romantic avatar with Rashmika Mandanna that truly came as a breath of fresh air amidst the intense mood of the trailer. In one of the standout moments, Rashmika is seen singing the iconic Lag Ja Gale song with Salman Khan. Interestingly, the song is actually sung by Iulia Vantur and it's worth saying that she has the lead heroine's voice.
The trailer of Sikandar ends on an unexpected note, featuring shots of Rashmika singing the classic Lag Ja Gale, interspersed with Salman fighting baddies. Notably, it is Iulia Vantur who has lent her voice to this portion. This is not the first time she has sung for a Salman Khan-starrer—she previously crooned Seeti Maar and Zoom Zoom in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai (2021) and also sang Selfish and Party Chale On in Race 3 (2018).
At the trailer launch of Sikandar, Salman Khan revealed that Rashmika’s Lag Ja Gale portion is his favorite part of the trailer. He even hummed a few lines and encouraged the media to sing along with him.
The song indeed sounds really amazing in the trailer and was truly one of the best parts. It certainly adds to the charm of the Salman Khan. With such surprises, the excitement to watch Sikandar on the big screen has only intensified.
