MUMBAI: Producer-actor Ajay Kumar Singh says acting and producing a film simultaneously is a tough task.
Ajay is already acting in four films, which is a remake of Spanish film "Julia's Eyes" in Bengali, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil language. He plays the role of a police officer in remake version, which he is also producing.
Ajay will be seen playing a police officer in four films, which is a remake of Spanish film "Julia's Eyes" in - Bengali, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil. He is also producing the film. Even though he is keen to act in movies he will ensure to not act in movies that he will produce.
“It is very difficult to produce and act in a film. Because a producer has a lot of duties like managing production, taking care of every little thing during the filming of a project.
While acting is a completely different thing we have to take focus on our character then we can act,” he says, adding, he is open to the idea of acting in films.
As a producer, for Ajay, who has produced Jimmy Shergill-starrer “Family of Thakurganj”, the script has to excite him to back any project.
“First I read the script and understand and then discuss. If I feel that I can convey a message to people and entertain them by doing this project then I go on to work on it,” he shares.
To bring together an entire team to make a project, Ajay says as a producer is not easy, it is the most challenging job.
“To be working with a different set of people including crew members, writers, actors and others and bearing everybody's tantrums then one film is made. It is a difficult job. I accept the challenge,” he says.
He observes for anyone entering the industry without any connection, it is a bit challenging.
