Bobby
Bobby, a 1973 film directed by Raj Kapoor, marked Dimple Kapadia's acting debut. In the movie, she was coupled with then-debutante Rishi Kapoor, the son of Raj Kapoor. Bobby portrayed a young love story featuring a rich vs poor narrative. Bobby Braganza, played by Dimple, is the poor Christian fisherman's daughter from Goa who falls in love with Raja Nath (Raj Nath), a well-known Hindu businessman.
Dil Chahta Hai
Three best friends, Sameer Mulchandani, Siddharth Sinha, and Akash Malhotra, take you on a journey in Dil Chahta Hai. The main cast of the Farhan Akhtar-directed film included Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshaye Khanna. Dimple Kapadia portrayed Tara Jaiswal, Sid's neighbor, in the movie.
Krantiveer
In the key roles of the 1994 action-crime movie Krantiveer are Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Atul Agnihotri, and Mamta Kulkarni. In the film, Nana Patekar portrays Pratap Tilak, a liberation fighter's grandson who enters a Mumbai chawl. One of the movie's highlights is Dimple's portrayal of Megha Dixit, a news reporter who never gives up on battling for injustice. Dimple Kapadia and Nana Patekar had a close bond in Krantiveer.
Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo
The television series, Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo, directed by Homi Adajania, was launched in 2023. Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Isha Talwar, Angira Dhar, Deepak Dobariyal, Naseeruddin Shah, and Monica Dogra are among the ensemble star cast members of the show. Dimple portrayed the strong and ferocious matriarch Rani Ba in the television series, who heads the biggest drug cartel in South Asia.
