MUMBAI: The director of No Entry 2 Aneez Bazmee has opened up about a falling out between brothers Anil and Boney Kapoor over the comedy's casting. Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, and Celina Jaitly starred in the original movie. Anil wanted to appear in the sequel, but sadly, Boney disclosed in an interview that there was "no space."

Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh will be the main actors in the follow-up. Anees stated in a recent interview that he is friends with both of the brothers and is aware of Anil's dissatisfaction at not being included in No Entry 2.

“I have worked a lot with Anil ji. Anil ji was very much involved in No Entry not just as an actor. He would always ask, ‘Kya karna hai?”, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 director was quoted as saying by Indian Express.com. “He did a great job and people loved his character, so naturally he will feel, ‘Main kyun nahin hoon is film ke andar (Why am I not in this film?”),’” said Anees.

The director stated that he doesn't want to get engaged in the matter because he is aware that “the two brothers have immense love for each other.” “Inke beech ki jo narazgi hai woh kuch dino ki ho sakti hai (Their animosity is temporary). Mujhe lagta hai yeh dono aapas mein nipat lenge aur aapas mein baat cheet karlenge, mujhe indono se baat karne ki koi zarurat nahin hai. Inko kisi aur ki zarurat nahin hai (I feel they both should sort out their differences and I don’t need to intervene. They actually don’t need anyone),” he added.

Since the information on the No Entry 2 casting came online, Anil Kapoor has reportedly not spoken with Boney Kapoor ever since, “Before I could tell my brother Anil about the No Entry sequel and the cast involved, he got angry as the news was already leaked. It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be a part of the No Entry sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did,” Boney told the popular news portal in an interview.

He continued, “In the process, my brother is still not talking properly. I hope it all gets sorted out soon. Let’s see.”
