MUMBAI : Earlier, the news of Disha Patani's father Jagdish Patani contracting Coronavirus made it to the headlines. Her father is Deputy SP who is reportedly on the vigilance unit of Uttar Pradesh power department. Reports had it that he along with two other officials contracted COVID-19. The team travelled to Lucknow from Bareilly to investigate a transformer scam. However, now the actress' team has denied these reports claiming Jagdish Patani is COVID-19 positive.

As reported by ETimes, Disha Patani's team has rubbished all the reports of her father being Coronavirus positive and stated that he is all 'fine'. As earlier reported by PTI, following the diagnosis of the three officers, the zonal chief engineer's office was kept closed for 48 hours. The actress is in Mumbai, quarantining and enjoying her free time amidst the lockdown.
On the work front, Disha Patani was last seen in Malang along with Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kemmu and others. Her upcoming project includes Salman Khan's Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai. The film was supposed to release on Eid in the month of May this year. However, thanks to the lockdown following the outbreak of Coronavirus, Government shutdown mass gathering places including theatres. The makers of Radhe had to postpone the release of the film without much choice. It is now being reported that Salman Khan is eyeing Republic Day 2021 for the release of the film.
