MUMBAI: Almost five years after the tragic demise of celebrity manager Disha Salian, her father, Satish Salian, has finally broken his silence, making explosive claims about his daughter's death.
In an exclusive interview with Republic TV, Satish has alleged that Disha was murdered and did not die by suicide, as was previously believed. His revelations have reignited discussions surrounding the case, which had gripped the nation back in 2020.
Disha, who was the former manager of movie actor Sushant Singh Rajput, tragically fell to her death from the 13th floor of a high-rise building on 9th June 2020.
The incident gained widespread media attention, particularly because it occurred just a week before Sushant was also found dead under mysterious circumstances.
Since then, both cases have been shrouded in controversy, with fans constantly demanding justice under the trending hashtags #JusticeForSSR and #JusticeForDisha on social media platforms.
However, despite the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) looking into the matter, no substantial findings have been officially disclosed.
Now, Satish Salian’s bombshell statement has added a new dimension to the case.
Speaking to Republic TV, he expressed his firm belief that his daughter did not take her own life but was, in fact, murdered.
“I initially thought it was a case of suicide, but one detail always troubled me. If my daughter had truly fallen from the 13th floor, how is it possible that there were no visible injury marks or blood stains? This convinced me that it was not suicide, but murder,” he stated emphatically.
In a shocking revelation, Satish also alleged that he was pressured into staying silent about the case. “I was told to keep quiet, but now I refuse to back down. I trusted what Rohan Rai and her friends told me at the time, Rohan even stayed with me after the incident, but I have now seen through the deception,” he asserted.
When questioned about a potential link between Disha’s death and Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Satish cryptically responded, “I strongly believe that the two cases are connected. I cannot speak about it fully right now, but in 10 to 15 days, the truth will come out. I have proof, and I will ensure that justice prevails.”
Satish Salian concluded his statement with a resolute declaration: “I was silenced for too long, but not anymore. I will fight until the truth is revealed and justice is served.”
His statements have reignited public interest in the case, with many now calling for a fresh investigation.
Whether the authorities will take any further action remains to be seen, but one thing is certain – the demand for answers is growing louder than ever.
