Distributors across Punjab vie for rights of Bhaji in Problem

With less than 10 days to go for the release of Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi’s production house Grazing Goat Pictures’ Punjabi film Bhaji in Problem, buzz is that the company has been inundated with huge demands for the rights of the film from across cinemas in Punjab. It all happened thus. Soon after the film’s trailer was launched, audiences were found tweeting and describing the trailer as hilarious and expressing their eagerness to watch the film. Some people also called it a Dhamaka trailer re-instating the fact that the film indeed looks as a promising blockbuster for all Punjabi and comedy film buffs. The movie is all about Sundeep Cheema (Gurpreet Ghuggi) who is married to two women. Keeping them ignorant of one another's existence has been something of a challenge. But he's managed this by telling each of them that he has to be away on business for half the week. Now his finely balanced life is thrown into jeopardy with the arrival of old friend Jeeta (Gippy Grewal) who promptly falls for the lovely Preet (Ragini Khanna). Sundeep is strongly opposed to this love match because he knows all about Jeeta's disreputable past. Unfortunately, Jeeta also knows about Sundeep's double life. Thus begins a rib-tickling battle of wits which forms the crux of the film. Bhaji in Problem stars a few of Punjab’s reputed stars like Gippy and Gurpreet who are ably assisted by Ragini Khanna and veteran actor Om Puri. The film has been directed by Smeep Kang who had earlier delivered hits such as Carry on Jatta and Lucky Di Unlucky Story. The film also has cricketer Harbhajan Singh making a friendly appearance while co-producer Akshay will feature in an extended role. Bhaji in Problem is Grazing Goat Picture’s second regional film production after its Marathi film 72 Miles Ek Pravas.
