The same thought has prevailed upon Ekta and Tusshar Kapoor, who are in plans to come out with a special documentary on their father Jeetendra who turns 71 on 7 April (2013). Incidentally, the star is among the few who have completed 50 years in films.

When we prevailed upon Tusshar to come out with details on the docu, he said, "We are still in the planning stages and I don’t think I should divulge more about the documentary. But all said and done, we do intend to do something to mark dad's golden jubilee in films."
Jeetendra follows Dev Anand and Dilip Kumar who also have had golden jubilee runs while Amitabh Bachchan has completed 44 years in the industry and Rishi Kapoor has had a 40-year run as an actor.
