MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif never shared a very cordial relationship with one another. Their past has been filled with bitterness.
It all started when Deepika’s ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor started dating Katrina and allegedly cheated on her because of the latter. Since then, their equation had soured.
However, Deepika doesn’t want to carry any baggage anymore and has buried the hatchet. She wishes to be friends with Katrina Kaif. The Padmaavat actress has followed Katrina on Instagram. In addition, she has liked several photos of Katrina from her Vogue cover shoot.
Deepika also invited Katrina for her wedding reception. There were reports doing the rounds that she wouldn’t invite Katrina. On Neha Dhupia’s show, when she was asked if she would invite Katrina to her wedding, Deepika said that she wouldn’t call her.
However, Katrina attended Deepika and Ranveer’s reception. In fact, Ranveer had reportedly invited Katrina personally to their reception on December 1st. Katrina looked gorgeous in a beige saree at the wedding reception.
