MUMBAI: With every passing day, the excitement around Excel Entertainment’s upcoming action thriller Ground Zero continues to soar. Following the powerful trailer and striking posters, anticipation is at an all-time high for this compelling story that unravels an untold chapter of India’s courage, dignity, and glory.
In a landmark move, the film is set to host its premiere today in Srinagar, Kashmir — a first-of-its-kind moment for Indian cinema. Making this day even more special, the makers have released the Ground Zero Jukebox, offering audiences a deeper glimpse into the emotional and thematic spectrum of the film.
Featuring songs that span patriotism, love, triumph, and resilience, the Jukebox brings together a stirring lineup of music.
The Jukebox features four distinct tracks that span the spectrum of emotion and theme — from patriotism to love, victory to resilience. So Lene De, sung by Jubin Nautiyal and Afsana Khan, is a deeply evocative number composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Aakash Rajan with lyrics by Vayu. Pehli Dafa, rendered soulfully by Vishal Mishra, carries the lyrical brilliance of Irshad Kamil and is composed by the duo Rohan-Rohan. Fateh, a high-energy anthem of power and grit, is sung by Divya Kumar with music by Sunny Inder and lyrics by Kumaar. Lahoo, another standout track, is brought to life by Sonu Nigam’s stirring vocals, composed by Tanishk Bagchi, and written by Rashmi Virag.
Excel Entertainment presents an Excel Entertainment Production, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar. Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy. The film is all set to hit cinemas on April 25, 2025.
