MUMBAI : At a recent fan interaction, Rajkummar Rao was asked how he felt about 2024 being called the “Year of Raj” due to his back-to-back hits and powerful performances. True to his humble nature, Rajkummar shifted the focus away from himself, saying, “I think it should be the year of good films, good movies, right? As long as we’re making good films as an industry, I’m more than happy because I want to go watch a film in theatres and get inspired.”
He went on to emphasize that it’s not about individual success, but the success of the entire industry, adding, “It should be the year of films. We should celebrate films in general. Good films.”
