Farah Khan’s mother Menaka Irani passes away at the age of 79

MUMBAI : Farah Khan Kunder is best known for directing films like Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, and is also an acclaimed choreographer. She has also turned an actor in the past for the movie Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi where she played the female lead opposite Boman Irani.

Farah Khan entered the Hindi film industry as a choreographer and has worked with countless big names of the industry. She has also judged a lot of reality shows and is currently a judge in Sony TV’s dancing reality show Jhalak Dikhala Jaa season 11.

On 12th July Farah Khan had posted a picture on her Instagram profile wherein she had mentioned, ‘We all take our mothers for granted..especially me! This last month has been a revelation on how much i lov my mom Menka.. she s been the strongest, bravest person iv ever seen.. sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries. Happy birthday mom! Today’s a good day to come back home ♥️ can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again.. i Lov u’

While the reports of Menaka Irani’s passing away are out, it is still not revealed what the actual reason was.
