God Rajinikanth debuts on Twitter

Twitter just got blessed today when His Holiness, South India's biggest cinematic legend, Rajinikanth made his debut on the much loved social networking platform. In his debut tweet, Rajini using twitter handle @superstarrajini wrote: "Salutation to the Lord. Va akkam a aivarukkum. A big thank you to all my fans. Excited about this digital journey." Talking about his decision to join Twitter, Rajini was quoted saying, “I decided to start with Twitter because I felt that the platform is abuzz with all the news and the trends that happen across the globe and I'm told that this is where all the best Rajini one-liners are. I have always believed that my career graph is a miracle I owe my fans. I have been contemplating joining the social media platform for a while to connect with them, hear what they have to say and share my thoughts. Unfortunately, I never got around to it until now. I am confident that I have the best team and the best guides who will help me connect with my audience.” True to his legendary fan following, in just a matter of few minutes, Rajini's followers catapulted to a mind boggling 30,000 and it's only rising with every passing second. Also, given the fact that Rajini's movie Kochadaiiyaan is releasing on 9 May (2014), there couldn't have been a better time for Rajini to arrive on Twitter. Let's wait and watch how many records Rajini will break on Twitter. Interestingly, the big boss has not chosen to follow anyone, yet.
