MUMBAI: Set to make an entry in Bollywood, Pranitha Subhash is excited to be a part of Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2 that features a talented star cast including Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty and Malaal actor Meezaan.
While she bonded well with Meezaan, the Bollywood newbie got introduced to the nitty-gritty of working with one of her dream directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Pranitha says, “Well, Meezaan comes from Sanjay Leela Bhansali school of thought as he has worked with him (as an assistant director before becoming an actor). He shared some interesting anecdotes with me. He told me that a lot of times for an entire day they filmed just one shot. This was in contrast to a Priyadarshan film, where we shot three scenes in one day. So you see the difference… it’s like two different worlds.”

The actress was left in awe of Shilpa, Meezaan and their dancing skills. “With these two amazing dancers and an ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya doing a dance track I used to get completely intimidated on the sets,” she says.
Though a senior actor like Rawal in company, Pranitha says it was quite easy to get along. “He is so funny. It was fun with him around on the set. The entire gang of actors would make funny videos between breaks,” she shares.
