MUMBAI : With the addition of celebrity Sanjay Dutt to the ensemble of this well-liked comedy series, there is much excitement building for Housefull 5. It's no secret that producer Sajid Nadiadwala loves working with Sanjay Dutt again, and he's well known for assembling amazing ensemble casts.
Expressing his excitement, producer Sajid Nadiadwala stated, “Sanjay Dutt has been like family since the early days of my career. Shot entirely on a cruise ship, Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, is expected to be the largest film in the Housefull franchise. With Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and now Sanjay Dutt, the film boasts a formidable cast. As the first Hindi film franchise to reach its fifth chapter, this fifth installment represents a momentous milestone and promises to uplift the humor and camaraderie for which the Housefull series is renowned.

Housefull 5 was initially scheduled to release on Diwali 2024 however it has been postponed to June 6, 2025.
