I am not on Instagram, account fake: Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan became the latest victim of some online miscreant’s fraudulent activity when a fake Instagram account opened in the superstar’s name started gaining mileage in the social networking world. Just a few days back, internet was abuzz with reports of Aamir having joined Instagram. The news spread like wildfire and Aamir’s fans started following him on the popular photo sharing site. The profile too seemed genuine and had four pictures of Aamir. In one of the pictures, Aamir is seen with his wife Kiran Rao too. One message too was posted from the fake account which read, “No time for tweeting, just time for posting my pictures in small boxes which represent my daily days. Good morning!” Aamir himself took to Twitter today to clarify that the Instagram account was not his. “Guys, I am not on Instagram. It’s obviously some fake account,” wrote Aamir. There was no immediate indication from Aamir as to whether he would file a police complaint to apprehend the miscreant. Wonder who the fake Aamir in town is.
