I will be happy if compared with Shah Rukh - Saqib Saleem

Huma Qureshi's brother Saqib Saleem is still comparatively a newcomer in the industry. Just three films old, Saqib is already gung ho about his next release, Hawaa Hawaai in which Saqib will be seen playing a skating coach. Talking about his role in the movie, Saqib says, “I play a skating coach named Lucky Bhargav. I teach skating to kids ranging from six year to adults. Lucky was a skating champ in the past. Then an incident happens which puts the kids at his academy in danger.” While YRF has never really tried making a film on skating, their last experiment with sports had struck gold at the box-office in the form of Chak De with Shah Rukh Khan playing the hockey coach. And with Saqib playing the skating coach in the movie, possibilities of comparisons between him and SRK have already set in. When asked how he feels when compared to SRK, Saqib says, “I will be happy if comparisons with SRK happen. He is a superstar and everyone loved him in Chak De. But I have given my own interpretation to this role and I hope it’s appreciated.” Recently rumours of Sridevi making a cameo in the movie were doing the rounds. However, Saqib clarifies that the actress will not be seen in the film. While Saqib is still trying to find his feet in the industry, his sister Huma Qureshi has already made a mark for herself. And Saqib is proud of her achievements. “I feel very proud being called Huma's brother. There is no sibling rivalry,” explains Saqib before adding that he would also love to act alongside Huma if someone offers them two good roles. We are sure Huma and Saqib will make for cute on-screen sibling pair as well.
