MUMBAI: After a long wait, Ishaan Khatter's 'A Suitable Boy' has finally premiered on BBC and fans seem to be in love with this visually stunning show. An adaptation of Vikram Seth's bestselling novel, the drama series aired on Sunday night and soon after it's release had the approval of all cinema lovers. Portraying the role of 'Maan', Ishaan Khatter truly wins you over with his effortless act and leaves you glued to the screen in every frame.
What's impressive is that even though makers have only dropped the first episode, Ishaan is already receiving an overwhelming response for his work from the audiences globally. Despite 'A Suitable Boy' having an ensemble cast of such good actors, the 24-year-old has been singled out in various reviews and tweets for his exceptional performance. What we absolutely love is how many international fans of the actor are now recognising him through his character Maan and are further making him trend on social media.

However, what truly is worth the attention is his crackling, never seen before chemistry with Tabu. Maan seems to be smitten by courtesan Saeeda Bai (Tabu). Hailing Ishaan - Tabu's chemistry in the series, a tweet read as, "The romance comes alive when they speak Hindi. Tabu is a phenomenal actor. Ishaan Khatter will be a huge star and their chemistry is brilliant."
Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh too took to social media and reacted to the opening episode saying, “Really enjoyed the first episode of a suitable boy. so nicely done. and such a superb cast. dil khush ho gaya,” For the unversed, the show will also be available for viewing in India and the rest of the world on Netlfix really soon.

With so much love coming in for Ishaan, we can't wait to see more of him in the series. 'A Suitable Boy' marks Ishaan Khatter's first collaboration with the acclaimed filmmaker Mira Nair. The six-part series also stars Tanya Maniktala, Ram Kapoor, Rasika Dugal, Randeep Hooda, Vinay Pathak, Vijay Varma and Ranvir Shorey in interesting roles.
