It’s all about girl power as Kriti Sanon and Nitanshi Goel share a heartwarming moment at an awards event!

Kriti Sanon and Nitanshi Goel

MUMBAI: A recent awards event witnessed some touching moments. The stunning Kriti Sanon was seen hugging Laapataa Ladies actress Nitanshi Goel, who has been winning accolades for her performance as the shy, sensitive Phool Kumari, in the movie.

As an outsider in the Hindi film industry, Kriti has always shown kindness and warmth towards other actors who have come from outside. Not just actors, at a recent event she wished a photographer warmly on his birthday too. Her hard work and talent has earned the young actress many big films and accolades, including the National Award in 2023 (Mimi) where she plays a surrogate mother. This gesture of Kriti is another gracious example of her support and encouragement for new talent – a moment which also celebrates their shared journey in the industry.

Recently Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Rao, Aamir Khan, and Jyoti Deshpande, was selected as India's official entry to the Oscars by the Film Federation of India, even winning over Cannes’ winner, All We Imagine As Light.

On the workfront, Kriti who has given consecutive hits this year with Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Crew is all set to debut as a producer with Do Patti which also sees her in the capacity of an actor alongside Kajol.
