MUMBAI: When it comes to Shah Rukh Khan movies, Jab Tak Hai Jaan holds a special place in every SRKian's heart as it was the last movie of SRK with director Yash Chopra. It was the perfect and also one of the most demanded trio of Yash Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan and A. R. Rehman.
The movie featured Katrina Kaif as the lead while Anushka Sharma played a pivotal role too. In fact, Anushka Sharma gained immense praise for her performance.
According to the story, Samar sees Meera in London and experiences love at first sight. However, due to some circumstances, he moves back to India where he works in bomb disposal squad and becomes a specialist. On the other hand, Akira, a journalist falls for Samar as he saves her life but after finding out his story, she decides to unite Samar and Meera.
The movie released in 2012 but is remembered and loved even today after 12 years. The fans of Shah Rukh Khan loved the romance in the movie. While the movie was about Samar and Meera's love story, many people in the audience felt Akira's pain and generosity.
After revisiting the movie, the fans are now asking for a spin-off based on Akira's character where she finds love for herself. It was very well noted in the movie that Akira is a pretty strong-headed character and the fans want Anushka Sharma to reprise the role.
There are some who are demanding for a spin-off movie wherein she goes to a foreign land for a serious story, gets in trouble and someone saves her just like the first time when Samar had saved her but with a changed that this time, the person doesn't have a lover already and instead falls for Akira's strong nature.
