Sonakshi Sinha

MUMBAI: On the occasion of International Women's Day, the makers of Jatadhara have revealed a striking new poster, offering a first glimpse of Sonakshi Sinha in an intense and never-seen-before avatar. Blending action, mythology, and supernatural elements, the film promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience.

Marking her much-anticipated debut in Telugu cinema, Sonakshi takes on a role unlike any she has portrayed before. Following her powerful performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi, she now steps into a character infused with mystery, strength, and intrigue. With such a compelling transformation, Jatadhara is shaping up to be one of her most awaited performances.

The film’s journey began with a grand muhurat ceremony in Hyderabad on 14th February, attended by key figures from the industry. Now, the team is venturing deep into the forests of Mount Abu, where an elaborate jungle set has been constructed at Maukaa Studios to bring the film’s mystical world to life. Boasting an ambitious scale and stunning visual storytelling, Jatadhara is rooted in ancient legend while delivering high-octane action.

Starring Sudheer Babu and helmed by debutant director Venkat Kalyan, the film is produced by Zee Studios’ Umesh KR Bansal, Prerna Arora, Aruna Agarwal, and Shivin Narang. Co-producers Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora, along with creative producers Divya Vijay and Sagar Ambre, are also instrumental in bringing this grand vision to life.

Sonakshi Sinha is set to begin filming on 10th March, fully immersing herself in this demanding and transformative role. With its gripping narrative, breathtaking visuals, and a supernatural premise that promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, Jatadhara is poised to be one of the most anticipated films of the year, offering an immersive cinematic spectacle like never before.
