Anurag Kashyap recently organized a screening of the award winning English movie, American Hustle for his industry friends. Anurag, who had previously screened Leonardo Di Caprio’s The Wolf of Wall Street, this time too, invited his same set of friends. But one surprise guest whose appearance at the screening made heads turn and whispers grow was Huma Qureshi. Photographers even snapped Anurag and Huma posing together and both looked absolutely comfortable in each other’s company. Expectedly, tabloids carried screaming headlines of Anurag and Huma allegedly coochie-cooing while watching the movie. A source close to Anurag informed us today that the director has now blamed photographers for creating this unnecessary hullaballoo by clicking pictures which meant nothing. And now, Kalki Koechlin too has come out in defense of Huma who seems to be at the receiving end of all brickbats. “Jesus Christ can we please leave Huma alone? My problems with Anurag have nothing to do with her,” tweeted Kalki Well, now that’s quite some clarification. In fact, Huma too has steadfastly denied that she was the reason behind Anurag and Kalki’s split. Well, looks like maybe there is nothing after all. But then again, there is no smoke without fire, we think.
