MUMBAI: Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor, who will share screen space in upcoming film Dostana 2, have wrapped up the shooting schedule in Punjab, after some major and long-night shoots. Kartik documented the last day with the cast and crew of the film and shared a few pictures on social media.
The shooting for Dostana 2 begun on November 9, which was earlier revealed by Kartik on the platform. He posted a picture of the clapperboard and wrote, 'Dostana 2 begins!'
Before commencing the shoot of his much-awaited film in Punjab, the Luka Chuppi actor had also shared a post on Instagram, in which he was seen seeking blessings from Dostana 2 producer Karan Johar. In the picture, the filmmaker was seen blessing him with good luck.
Now, as per sources, Juhi Babaar Soni jas been roped in for Dostana 2. Juhi is an Indian film and television actress. She contributes to the theatre industry as an actor and a director.
Dostana 2 is directed by Collin D'Cunha and is penned by Navjot Gulati, Sumit Aroraa, and Rishabh Sharma.
The film is a sequel to the 2009 release Dostana, which starred Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham, and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles.
