Jurassic Park actor Cameron Thor arrested for raping a minor

Cameron Thor, best known for his role in Jurassic Park was arrested yesterday for allegedly raping a minor. The 54-year old actor was arrested by Los Angeles police on charges of sexually assaulting a 13-year old girl. Thor was being held in lieu of $2.6 million bail. The sexual assault is alleged to have occurred between April 2008 and March 2009. It is being reportedly said that the victim consulted Thor about attending his acting classes that he runs along with his partner Alice Carter. Reportedly, after one of the consultations, Thor drove the victim to a secluded are in Agoura Hills and allegedly sexually assaulted her. The girl was 13- years old at the time of the incident. Prosecutors said that more sexual assaults followed. Following these allegations, multiple charges were framed against Thor namely eleven counts of a sex crime on a child under 14, one count each of kidnapping, robbery, rape and sexual penetration, and another count of rape or sexual penetration. After the incident was reported and attracted media attention, Thor’s acting studio website was taken down.
