Actress Amanda Bynes, who has extended her US conservatorship until 2020, is happy about her decision of giving control to her parents to manage her health and medical affairs.
Her mother, Lynn, who once had conservatorship in 2014 and relinquished it weeks later, is Amanda's conservator.
The Bynes' family lawyer Tamar Arminak told a media portal, ‘The conservatorship can end at any time prior to 2020, but both Amanda and her parents are on such good terms and happy with Amanda's life and future, the conservatorship is the last thing on their minds.’

Mark Wahlberg on Oscars' new popular film category
Actor Mark Wahlberg says that with the new category introduced by the Academy Awards, he might win a couple of awards now.
‘Maybe if they'd had the category before, we'd have won a couple of them,’ Mark Wahlberg told Variety on Thursday night at the premiere of Mile 22.
‘We've had some really commercially successful films that we think certainly warranted that kind of notoriety. We make films that we want people to enjoy and if we get those kind of accolades, fantastic. If not, we make the movies for audiences to enjoy,’ he added.
Wahlberg was nominated for a supporting actor Oscar for his role in 2006's The Departed and again in 2010 as a producer for The Fighter. STX's action-thriller Mile 22 is the 45th film on his acting resume.
‘There are a lot of great films out there that happen to be very popular and haven't been recognized that probably deserve the recognition,’ Wahlberg said.
Ronda Rousey, who plays a cold-eyed CIA agent in Mile 22, admitted that the popular category appealed to her.
Mile 22 opens on August 17.
Eve director drops out of movie after backlash
Matthew Newton has exited as director of Jessica Chastain's film Eve following an online backlash due to his history of alleged assault and domestic violence.
Newton, who suffers from bipolar disorder, made the announcement on Friday morning, as per media reports.
‘Yesterday I notified Jessica Chastain and the other producers on the film 'Eve' that I will be stepping down as director. Since the announcement of this film, the responses, which are powerful and important, have not fallen on deaf ears. I am profoundly aware that I have a responsibility to lead where I have failed in the past,’ Newton said in a statement.
He said that he can ‘never undo the harm that I have caused (to) the people I have cared about and I carry that shame and responsibility with me every day.’
‘Over the past eight years, I have been working extensively with healthcare professionals to help me overcome my addiction and mental health illness. For the past six years, I have lived a quiet and sober life All I can do now is try to be a living amends and hopefully contribute to the positive change occurring in our industry,’ he added.
Chastain announced earlier this month that she would star in and produce, through her Freckle Films production company and Voltage Pictures, the character-driven action movie Eve. Newton, who wrote the script, was also named director.
Eve is produced by Nicolas Chartier and Dominic Rustam alongside Chastain and her Freckle Films partner Kelly Carmichael. Newton had also been set to produce.
Newton pleaded guilty in 2007 to physically assaulting his then girlfriend, actress Brooke Satchwell. In 2010, Newton's fiancee Rachael Taylor accused him of two ‘unprovoked assaults’ and was granted a two-year domestic violence order against him.
